An experienced psychologist for defined assignments in working life.

FOR MANAGERS AND BUSINESS LEADERS

As a leader, a person and more than your role.

Conversations with psychological depth about work, relationships and life as a whole.

When you are a manager or business leader, there are questions that are difficult to think aloud about with someone in your own organisation. Here you have an independent person to talk with outside the organisation, with psychological expertise, long clinical experience and personal experience of running a business.

We begin with what is occupying you now. It may be a decision, a relationship, a conflict, a recurring reaction or how the role affects you. Sometimes you need to understand something in depth. Sometimes you need to think more clearly before acting.

Working life and life outside work affect one another. Demands, conflicts and strain in one part can have consequences in the other. Sometimes they pull in different directions and it is difficult to make it all work. There is room for that in the conversations too. You do not need to decide beforehand whether a question is personal or professional.

This is not primarily about making you more effective as a manager. The focus is on understanding yourself better and finding a way to be in your different roles that also works for you as a person. Questions of self-esteem, self-knowledge, your own needs, relationships and recurring ways of reacting can therefore matter as much as decisions and leadership.

The conversations do not follow a ready-made leadership programme. They can move between the business, the leadership role and the person who carries it. We explore the questions without a ready-made template for how a leader should be.

You can begin with a single conversation or a short series. Before starting, we clarify the form and terms of the assignment, including documentation and confidentiality. If the company pays, we also agree on arrangements for any reporting back. No reporting back takes place without your knowledge and approval.

FOR COMPANIES AND HR

When might psychological sessions be appropriate?

When an employee or manager is not functioning as usual at work, it is not always clear where the problem lies or what help is needed. It may involve a crisis, prolonged strain, conflicts, difficulties working together, the person’s life situation or recurring patterns that affect work. I can help you assess whether a defined assignment involving individual sessions is a reasonable way forward.

You do not need to assess the need for treatment or provide sensitive information in the first contact. Briefly describe what you are looking for and what practical conditions apply. I assess whether the assignment fits and, if it does, provide a clear proposal for scope, fee and next steps.

If the difficulties are also connected with the working environment, organisation or management, those aspects need attention alongside the individual work. Individual sessions can help the person, but do not replace changes needed in the organisation.

FOR HR AND EMPLOYERS

From a question to appropriate help

You do not need to know exactly what kind of help is needed before getting in touch. It is enough to describe briefly the type of situation and what you would like help with. No sensitive personal information is needed in the first contact.

I help you assess whether individual sessions are an appropriate way forward. If the assignment fits, you receive a clear proposal for its direction, scope, fee and possible start. This may be a single consultation or a short series of focused sessions.

If the problem instead needs to be addressed in the working environment, the organisation or the healthcare system, I will say so. The assignment can be carried out independently or alongside an existing occupational health service.

Clear terms from the start

Before starting, we agree on the goals and scope of the assignment and arrangements for any reporting back. Individual sessions are covered by professional confidentiality. Reporting back about an employee takes place within agreed limits and with the employee’s consent.

Have an initial discussion

IF YOU WILL BE ATTENDING SESSIONS

The sessions begin with what matters to you

Your employer paying does not change who the sessions are for. We begin with how things are for you, what has become difficult and what you want to understand or be able to change.

Together, we try to make the problems understandable. Where relevant, we explore how thoughts, feelings, anxiety, bodily reactions, behaviours and recurring patterns are connected and what may keep the problems going. From that, we work out a direction and follow up on what actually helps.

I am responsible for the clinical judgements, but we formulate goals together and follow how things change. You can say if something does not feel relevant, understandable or helpful.

What you share is covered by professional confidentiality. Your employer is not given access to the content of the sessions, assessments or how the work develops. If any other reporting back is to be included, we agree on it beforehand and it is based on your consent.

FOR OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH PROVIDERS AND PARTNERS

An experienced psychologist for defined assignments

I can take individual therapy cases, short periods of cover and clearly defined consultancy assignments. The work can be carried out independently or alongside an established provider.

If the assignment is arranged through another provider, we go through the terms for contact, booking and invoicing before starting.

You do not need to provide client information in the first contact. Describe the expertise or capacity you are looking for and what practical conditions apply, and we will work out whether the assignment fits.

CAPACITY AND TYPES OF ASSIGNMENT

Short assignments with clear terms

I take individual cases, short series and temporary cover, but am not currently taking ongoing assignments.

If I have capacity for the assignment, you receive a proposal with its direction, scope, fee and possible start. The arrangement can be adapted to an existing occupational health service or agreed directly with the employer.

INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS

How the sessions are arranged

Sessions can take place at the practice in Hornstull or online through Kaddio. If the employer pays, we agree on arrangements and fees beforehand, and the invoice can be addressed to the company. If contact is arranged through an insurer or another intermediary, their terms may govern, for example, the number of sessions, booking and invoicing. We go through the applicable terms before the sessions begin.

Common questions

How do we ask about an arrangement?

Contact me and say whether the enquiry concerns one or more employees and whether you would like to pay directly or use an insurance or intermediary arrangement. You do not need to describe the employee’s difficulties. We agree on scope, fees and practical terms before the sessions begin.

How does payment work?

When the employer pays directly, the invoice can be addressed to the company, payable within 30 days. If contact is arranged through an insurer or another intermediary, their terms may govern the number of sessions, booking and invoicing. We check what applies before the sessions begin.

How soon can sessions begin?

That varies with availability. Get in touch and I will assess whether I have capacity for the assignment and describe possible next steps. No particular waiting time can be promised beforehand.

What information do we receive as an employer?

You receive the invoice and the administrative information needed for the agreed arrangement. You are not told what the employee shares, what assessments are made or how the sessions develop. Professional confidentiality applies even when you pay. If any other reporting back is to be included, it must be agreed beforehand and based on the employee’s consent.

Get in touch.

You do not need to send sensitive personal information or a detailed description. If you would like me to contact you, just leave your name and one way to reach you. If you would rather email or phone, it is enough to state your role and broadly what you are looking for.
