I am a psychologist licensed in Sweden and see young people and adults in Hornstull, on the western side of Södermalm, or online through Kaddio. Sometimes it is hard to describe what is troubling you, or to talk about things that feel sensitive or taboo. We can approach that together.
I want the practice to feel warm and welcoming. This is your room, with space for what feels uncertain or difficult.
Opening up can be hard if you are used to judging yourself or being judged by others. My task is to try to understand you, not to judge. We build a sense of safety together in our sessions.
What you tell me in our sessions is protected by professional confidentiality, with certain exceptions set out in law. Read more about confidentiality and patient records.
The practice is at Lorensbergsgatan 5B in Hornstull, a couple of minutes’ walk from the metro, on the western side of Södermalm. Appointment hours are Mondays 08:00–20:00 and Thursdays 17:00–20:00.
There are steps between the street entrance and the lift. If you need step-free access, I can meet you and open an alternative route through the basement. Please let me know beforehand so we can arrange this.
You can seek help with worrying and ruminating, low mood or depression, anxiety, exhaustion, worries about health, relationship difficulties and recurring relationship patterns, difficulties with self-esteem or sleep. You can also get in touch when something in life does not sit right but is difficult to put into words. We begin with your own description of what is happening, how everyday life is affected and what you would like to be different.
How I work
We begin with your description and formulate together what you want to change and what may be keeping the difficulties going. I help you put into words what is difficult to describe.
I have been a psychologist licensed in Sweden since 2017 and am certified in MCT and ISTDP. We follow what changes in your everyday life and adjust the work as we understand more. There should be room to ask questions, disagree and say when something is not helping.
A private practice, without detours
The practice is private and has no agreement with Region Stockholm. When you book as a private individual, you pay for the sessions yourself and do not need a referral. You contact me directly, and together we pin down what you need.
I keep patient records, am bound by professional confidentiality and have patient insurance. The practice is listed in the register of healthcare providers kept by the Swedish Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO) and is subject to its supervision.
The sessions can also take place online through Kaddio’s encrypted video service in your browser, if you would rather meet from home.
Common questions
Where on Södermalm is the practice?
The practice is at Lorensbergsgatan 5B in Hornstull, a couple of minutes’ walk from Hornstull metro station on the western side of Södermalm. The consulting room is on floor 5. There are steps between the street entrance and the lift. If you need step-free access, I can meet you and open an alternative route through the basement. Please let me know beforehand so we can arrange this.
Do I need a referral to book?
You do not need a referral to book privately with me. You can book directly or contact me with a question, and I can help you work out what might be a reasonable next step. Because the practice has no agreement with Region Stockholm, you pay for your sessions yourself, and the regional high-cost protection scheme (högkostnadsskydd) and exemption card (frikort) do not apply. For care through the region, you can contact a primary care centre or an outpatient psychiatric clinic.
Do you have appointments available now?
I am accepting new clients. Availability varies over time. You can see the times currently available on the booking page, where you can also book a 15-minute introductory phone call. Fee: Free. If there are no times available in the calendar, you can ask for a time through the contact page and I will arrange one. If you would rather write, use the contact page.
What does it cost?
An introductory phone call lasts 15 minutes. Fee: Free. A free call about practical arrangements, format and possible next steps. It is not therapy, a clinical assessment or crisis support. For private clients, 30 minutes costs SEK 900. A standard 50-minute session costs SEK 1,300. Both new and existing clients can book 30 minutes when they would like a shorter session. A longer video session of 90 minutes costs SEK 2,000 and can be booked directly in the calendar. If you would like a longer or individually arranged session at the practice, get in touch and we will agree on the arrangements and fee before the session. Fees for companies and organisations are quoted separately.
