Here you can read about my responsibilities as a psychologist licensed in Sweden and as a healthcare provider, the patient insurance, and how to give feedback or make a complaint. You are always welcome to start by contacting me directly.
Professional licence and supervision
I have been a psychologist licensed in Sweden since 2017. My practice is listed in the register of healthcare providers kept by the Swedish Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO) and is subject to its supervision. As a healthcare provider, I am responsible for ensuring that the work is carried out safely and in accordance with the rules that apply to healthcare.
Patient insurance
I have patient insurance through the Swedish Psychological Association (Sveriges Psykologförbund), in accordance with the Swedish Patient Injury Act (patientskadelagen). The insurance may provide compensation if you suffer a patient injury covered by the Act. Contact me if you need information about the insurance or would like to know how to make a claim.
Feedback and complaints
If you have feedback on the care or think something has gone wrong, you are welcome to contact me. I receive and respond to complaints about the practice and try to establish what has happened. If you then wish to take the matter further, IVO’s website (in Swedish) explains which complaints the authority investigates and how to submit one.
